Dear Sirs/Mesdames,

All my life I have listened to the CBC, both Radio one and Radio Two, and I always thought that I would listen to it no matter where I lived in Canada.

But after hearing for the last year how CBC North promotes the exploitation and hunting and trapping of animals, never, or infrequently presenting the compassionate, humane views of animal rightists, I know I couldn't listen to CBC North.

I'm sure it can't have escaped your notice that all the biggest media in North America are presenting animal welfare/rights stories almost every day. Perhaps it is time for CBC North to pay attention to this trend.

Yours truly,

Does a humane education program, specifically geared for media, exist?
