Well cared for...I just love how that is thrown around; and unfortunately for the dog, the person who owns this dog is probably 'thick' enough to think that throwing food out to the dog every once in a while does mean well cared for. A dog who was probably never walked or socialized, left on a chain was 'well cared for'?

It seems to me dogs with a huge potential to bite, like the pit bull, are often the ones to be left on chains and to be bred over and over again.

Darn rights the politicians are gutless. Perhaps when it is one of their children bitten by one of these anti-social dogs, they will finally do something and ban the keeping of yard dogs.
