Mackenzie is correct. I contacted Marcie Moriarty, Manager of the Cruelty Investigations Department on January 19th to be precise, with my concerns (and those of others) regarding the pound. These concerns have been ongoing. Marcie Moriarty advised me that she found the information in my letter quite disturbing. This is the same letter that was sent to the CRD Board of Directors regarding concerns. Contents of that letter were completely above board and exact. Consequently there was an investigation and because I had filed the complaint Ms. Moriarty asked me to call her regarding the findings. As in most cases regarding complaints in any field, it is usual to advise a complaintant of the findings and/or outcome of an investigation. I understand that the CRD had already been advised of the outcome prior to my telephone conversation. I suppose for confidentiality sake it would not be possible for a 3rd party to contact Marcie Moriarty so I would like to invite Don Brown to briefly disclose the information in the report he refers to and the discrepancy with the information that I received.

"Mackenzie" is the secret name used by Elayne Acheson and "DMP" is the secret name used by her husband, Mike Pickard.
