Listen and object! CBC radio's Early Edition - Chinese food market are good for a giggle

CBC AM 690: at approximately 8:15 CBC takes a tour of the "historic" Vancouver Chinatown food markets. In the promo just aired, the reporter and her guide giggle about the live yellow eels and the "things we don't want to know". It is up to the CBC to inform listeners of what they don't know, not to promote cruelty.

Please listen and then write Rick Cluff at earlyed@vancouver.cbc.ca

If I can arrange a quaint "ethnic" bear-baiting contest would you like to come and check it out for the CBC?
I personally don't find it amusing to see any creatures suffering for the sake of "freshness" be it chickens, ducks or EVEN EELS
