Anyone else who knows of resources for women fleeing violence who need a place for their pets please call Maureen at 604-987-0366 or post on the Watchdog. It is critical to get pets out of a situation where a woman is experiencing abuse or has left because of this. The abusers do things to horrible to write about to women's pets to try to teach her a lesson and/or to maintain control.
