Telus really exploited rabbits in their ads and commercials

Telus really exploited rabbits in their ads and commercials. They could be seen everywhere. Of course the consequences to that were people running off to pet stores to buy a rabbit that looked just like a Telus one. Then, as what inevitably follows, after a period of time the rabbit was no longer wanted and dumped onto another group or such; either way it was deemed disposable.
Coincidently the BC SPCA has been a recent recipient of a $75,000 donation from Telus, which is to be used to expand the youth programming.
