Cats Alive on Gabriola Island

On Gabriola Island a small and dedicated group of women decided to end the exploding feral cat population and formed a group called Cat's Alive.

In the 10 years this group has been active they have sterilized, vaccinated, de-wormed, de-fleaed and vetted hundreds of cats.

There no longer is a feral cat population on Gabriola Island and its a blessing to have such an amazing organization look after the sweet souls in need.

Happy Cat Haven, Gibsons BC - it took six years, but this little organization humanely cleared up the feral cat problem on the Sunshine Coast

The contrast between what the SPCA has achieved in reducing the cat population and what the little group in Gibsons has achieved is startling
