Animal welfare: Low-lifes kill peacock
Dear Editor,
This letter is intended for the scummy low-life sickos who chased and tortured to death our neighbourhood pet peacock near D.W. Poppy high school last week.
This lonely male had lived with us for some six years and was known and respected by many. He had survived coyotes, wild dogs, and cold winters, but wasn't afraid of people.
He should have recognized those low-lifes for the sub-humans they are.
It'll do me good to get this off my chest, but they are probably illiterate as well.
Out of fear for those animals, I request you withhold my name.
Name withheld, Langley
