That's a great point. It's easy to turn a blind eye when they facts aren't in your face, but from what I've read on the PETA sites and others (enough to change my ways!) I too would agree about the acts that "food animals" have to endure rivaling the torture and murder of those cherished "pet animals"... Hopefully that letter made many people think about what (or rather, who) they are eating. Thanks for posting it Carmina.
