PETA says they are sorry they "littered" by throwing dead animals in the dumpster.
They seem unconcious that they should be sorry they killed the animals in the first place.

PETA says they hope to shine a light on the horrors of cat and dog over-population in Virginia and North Carolina. How? By procuring the animals under false pretences, and then killing them? In fact, PETA enables pet over-population, by making sure there's always room for more.

PETA admits to having killed over 14,000 animals in the last few years. So clearly, it's fine by them.

But they're sorry about the "littering." I think that sounds like "we're sorry we got caught."
They got away with it though - in court, anyway.

If PETA is so comfortable with all the "euthanasia" that they choose to do, why don't they do a better job of publicizing it?

Some of PETA's own literature cautions people to be very careful when handing an animal over to a shelter, a pound, or a rescuer.

Who would've thought that you had to be afraid of PETA - the (former?) leading animal rights group in the world?
