Dear Ms. Chortyk,
Thank you for bowing to public pressure, and cancelling the crab boil in Prince Rupert.
Please consider that while this particular issue got a response from many members of the public, many of us are not unaware that the BCSPCA often serves weiners made from factory farmed animals at their fund-raisers.
Without us having to raise a fuss then, I urge you to have strictly vegetarian fund-raisers at all branches, at all times.
It will never be the actions of an honourable animal welfare society to raise money for one species of animal, at the cost of the lives of another species.
Sincerely,
Lyn MacDonald
