PIT BULL KILLS ONE INJURES ANOTHER

PIT BULL ATTACK RESULTS IN DEATH OF ONE DOG , INJURES ANOTHER, AT KITS BEACH

Saturday around 2:00 pm squeals of horror from onlookers and desperate cries from dogs could be heard as a muzzled pit bull attacked a 12 years old blonde Bouvier on the road surrounding Kits Beach.

***The guilty pitbull returns to New West and is not allowed back in Vancouver
- AND is NOT DESTROYED.
According to second hand info I received.

Traffic stopped and 30-40 good citizens tried in vain to help pull the pit
off the Bouvier (Elly). Finally a man kicked it in the face which unfortunately resulted in the owner's second dog suffering a bite to its side.

The pit-bull was one of three pitbulls being looked after by a young couple, was off-leash with no dog tags and managed to shed the muzzle which it had been wearing.

The elderly widow, P. Morrisson, was in shock and
deep sorrow when the vet at the Animal Emergency Hospital told her that euthanization was reccomended due to the seriousness of the injury.

Pit-bulls have been banned in many urban centres across the country, including Winnipeg.

SHOULD METRO VANCOUVER BE NEXT?? Make it an issue with your city counsellor!

This story was witnessed by myself and two friends. It was covered by Global News on Monday.
