The supreme court judge granted Trevor a stay of execution for about 10 days

A Trevor update.

A concerned member of the public went to court today to say Trevor should have been returned to the humane society, and didn't belong to the man who surrendered him to the city pound.

Today, the supreme court judge granted Trevor a stay of execution for about 10 days, so a case can be made that he belongs to the Humane Society and should not be euthanized, and the city can make their own claim of ownership.

Meanwhile, Bylaw officials are now quoted in a local paper saying they would adopt Trevor out to a member of the public who is willing to comply with their "dangerous dog" guidelines. I'm very hopeful (and I think they are, too) that someone will step forward and adopt Trevor, baggage and all. He's had a lot of press here, and public opinion is overwhelmingly in support of giving him another chance.
