I am the owner of the dogs in cages for over as year. In reply to the TW full of hate. My dogs were months old when, before I was fenced fully...in this off leash area F of Errington... they would certainly greet passers by and the happy hydro reader as was always the case with my other dogs after living with them in Nanoose for 7 years unfenced without 1 complaint. They are big and completely non aggressive as proven through the courts over and over. The RDN seized the dogs without ever even meeting them or visiting them or me. For years I had been informing the authorities of hate attacks from neighbours as soon as I moved in but nothing was done. The RDN acted for friends who express the mentality of the previous letter posted plus...with no legislative power to order a kill...ordered their death because their friend and neighbour with the grudge was in fact an RDN employee...who setting loose, completely unattended..his two aggressive little dogs over 10 acres away running loose down the road and onto my property...They were chased away by my dogs which were sitting in the back of my car as we were just about to leave the house...with witness. The German Shepherd X did not leave my side...did not join in and, the other dogs were controlled instantly by my whistle as they always were but sadly had bitten one of the little dogs...who also bit the eye of my dog. The little dog is alive and well...my dogs will die. It was a dog fight. In the court it was proven RDN took the wrong dog but he is still in a 4 foot concrete cell and untouched or walked and isolated from his mother and brother here. This entire case has been rife with lies on lies and cover-ups which the Supreme court noted and the Appeal Court of BC upheld. I have won these hearings alone without a lawyer...The RDN have initiated ALL this and at any point could stop it but NO!...The RDN want to start a new hearing taking another year and more tax payers money for two dogs PROVEN innocent by court appointed experts. RDN lawyers will get richer at $600 per hour x3... The SPCA who hold the dogs in their GULAG...work for the RDN to seize and receive huge, huge kennel fees for doing this... The rest is still in limbo as these dogs suffer without a hearing still...because of hate and money. We no longer have a democracy here in BC and the sooner the public realize this the sooner something could be done. There are hundreds of signatures collected from people who know and love MY BABIES as not vicious...you do not have to believe me at all. As for the Rally in Errington to set them free...It was not organized by me nor did I participate other than help with the signs.You know...anyone who really understands the the way dogs act and re-act would know that LITTLE DOGS are just as vicious if not more so than big dogs. Often big goofy dogs do bound up to play with little dogs and get a nasty reaction them respond as a normal dog...and win on size alone...then get killed by whining irresponsible little dog owners. If my situation were reversed and I owned the little dogs sitting in my car the running loose dogs should be the ones on death row! Try looking at both sides for once everyone. No one is ALL bad ALL of the time. And NO dog deserves to be killed for the RDN.
