Poor SPCA! It only has money for its salaries and retreats, and vehicles and lawyers

The SPCA is shameless, but I guess shame can only be felt if one has a conscience to feel with and the SPCA has worked this angle for so many years so successfully that begging for money "for the animals" and then spending on itself is machine-like rote.

The SPCA gets $20,000,000 a year and will not tell what it does with it.

But we know that first it spends money on itself. On fat salaries and bloated head office staff, trips to England, retreats, vehicles, and dismissal pay-outs.

Oh...and let us not forget the lawyers. The SPCA has possibly spent $200,000 on attempts to stop AAS from serving the public interest on this web site and in trying to deny us our freedom of speech. And if it persists in its defamation suit against AAS and its directors and posters, it could cost another $200,000. It has spent money to silence others too. So let's just say it will spend half a million dollars in round figures on attacking its critics.

That translates into 10,000 dog sterilizations and 20,000 cat sterilizations. Or it could have been used to improve at least two of its Alcatrazes for animals.

The SPCA makes clear on a daily basis, what its spending priorities are. The SPCA boasts that it is "open, accountable and transparent". Not even remotely true of the first two, but laughably true of the last!
