There are times I cannot help but wonder why the BC SPCA cannot just learn from the small groups.
When a small group like AAS can take dogs like Eddy, take the time, spend the money necessary, give the love to make them whole again and then part with them to the perfect home to make room for the next one why cannot the SPCA see the folly in their both their unlimited surrender policies and not particularily thorough adoption process.
Animal Welfare is not about rehoming the easy ones that someone decides they just do not care to keep anymore. Animal Welfare truly is about rehabilitating and helping those dogs whose life has been harmed by humans.
Congratulations AAS. I have met Eddy and am so grateful you intervened to give him the life this loving boy so deserved.
