AAS refuses to assist the SPCA to fool the public with its decades-long misuse of evocative terms of compassion like "shelter", "care", "adoption", and "welfare".

The SPCA sells animals still, it does not "adopt" them. The SPCA runs pet disposal centres, not "shelters". The SPCA does human welfare (its own), not "animal welfare".

Any posts that call the SPCA a shelter will not be published. Nothing ever changes while a falsehood is being repeated; in this case, it is repeated all the time by real animal welfarists, who ought to know better.
