Hi, I'm a seasons pass holder at the Greater Vancouver Zoo and a professor at a local college. To me it is quite apparent that you haven't been to many zoos, including the Greater Vancouver Zoo. Many changes have occurred over the last few years, and I don't agree with ANY of the conditions that you are reporting. The large cat pens are spacious, the living conditions are more than adequate, and the bird cages are fully acceptable. I'm not sure if the bald eagle pen is your issue, but there is a sign that clearly states that these are rescued birds incapable of flight. Anyway, I'll see you there on Saturday as my kids and I tour the zoo.
