From what I know about Heather and the fine people at VDACS, they are entirely volunteer run and are constantly working to raise funds to help the animals in Vernon. All the money they raise is used to provide essential medical care which includes spaying/neutering. This is REAL animal welfare!

VDACS doesn't have highly paid administrators, or media spin doctors on a payroll, in fact there is NO payroll because VDACS is a volunteer-run organization. The B.C.SPCA spends millions in donator dollars to shuffle animals from one shelter to another, to kill animals, and worst of all, to promote themselves as BC's experts in animal welfare. When you compare the B.C. SPCA to an organization like VDACS, it's obvious who is truly working on behalf of the animals. Shame on the B.C. SPCA!
