Imagine if the roles were reversed, the tables turned. Imagine apes leading humans around on leashes, speaking amusedly to each other about our low intelligence, controlling who we bred with and keeping our children in cages.

This scenario has been imagined, and recreated - by clever film makers for human entertainment in a series of successful early '70's cult sci-fi films. We humans watch them and eat popcorn, and some of us make a few insightful comments... but in the end, we return home, and quite a good number of us put a leash on our dogs and take them for a nice walk.
