This dog is a Presa canario, the breed that ripped Diane Whittle to death in San Francisco in 2001 . It is being held in this pen in a lower mainland municipality. Until a month ago, there was a female in the pen with it so there will be puppies for sale soon.

The ears are chopped off close to the head so that they can't be ripped off in a fight but also to make the dog's appearance abnormal and therefore frightening. This young dog weighs around 100 pounds but could grow to 120-130 pounds. Not even a large man could stop this dog from killing him. Women and children won't even be able to fight back.
