AAS has rescued puppies that are destined for the table

And not only AAS. Others have too. We were called about two pups in boxes on the back porch of an East Vancouver home where an Asian family lived. The neighbours could hear the pups crying night and day and then one disappeared and its bones were found in the garbage.

The other pup "disappeared" too but this one sleeps on a bed and goes to the creek everyday.

We don't believe there is much of this going on, but there should be zero tolerance; not because it is more immoral to eat dogs and cats than to eat any other species of animal, but because it is such a violent affront to our values. If the way dogs are being treated by immigrants became widely known, it would cause unhealthy cultural strife. It is even now, with everyone in the animal rescue community.

This is an issue that the SPCA should have taken to the immigrant community leaders long ago since almost 100% of dog abuse in Greater Vancouver is by immigrants.

The SPCA has betrayed thousands of suffering animals because it won't risk losing a dime from "politically correct" donators.
