TORONTO: Pit bull mauls girl, 10

A 10-year-old girl is in hospital for surgery after she was attacked by a pit bull at a townhouse complex in the city's west end early yesterday, police said. She suffered facial injuries and was taken to the Hospital for Sick Children.
