We DO worry about people who do not do right by their animals; that is exactly what AAS and its supporters are all about.
* We want reforms in the SPCA that will properly address the issues of owners who so readily get rid of their animals.
* We want reforms that will bring about proper care for the animals that they accept into what they call, their "care".
* We want accountability from SPCA for their expenditures towards outlandish salaries for management and frivolous lawsuits.
* We want the individual control officers to do a more humane and responsible job of protecting animals in distress when they are reported, not just when publicity is involved.
We are not attacking them - we are simply asking SPCA to do the job they are paid for and mandated to do.
How sad that they prefer to take an 'Us vs Them' attitude, which confuses the public and produces unnecessary dialog and blame while the real problems continue.
