Bravo for the SPCA and to the two veterinarians involved! They were quite within their rights. If the couple wanted their dog to be put down, they should have taken it to their own vet instead of dumping her to die, without her human family, at the SPCA. The couple involved were obviously being less than honest regarding the necessity for immediate euthanasia. To take her in to have her killed and then to say they would have let her have the puppies if they'd known that she was pregnant is mind boggling. I don't think they are in a position to make any comments on this dog.

Bravo for the couple who took her in. I hope they get a lot of pleasure from her for many years.
