Animal Advocates Watchdog

the BC SPCA has the power to make these changes

Too bad the BC SPCA is more interested in pushing as many dogs out the door as possible (through their adoption advertisements and “adoption challenge contest”) – instead of getting the message out to the public by lobbying governments at all levels to initiate breeding controls.

And please don’t tell me that it is up to the general public to do this – the BC SPCA has the power to make these changes – they just need to get their act together and do something that is PROTECTING animals in this province instead of shuffling them around.

I would like to know now that the “adoption challenge” is over (Victoria and Quesnel were the winners) if the BC SPCA is going to be keeping track of all the animals that are returned because of questionable adoption screening?
