Anyone in Pit rescue or other rescues that could help with 6 pit pups, 5 weeks old, 2 males
8 months old as well as female 5? yrs old
[mother of all] pit/lab. Please respond off the board to Chilliwack Animal Control 604-795-4638 ask for Lorne.

Comment: There are nine Pit Bulls needing responsible homes,at this one pound alone. And I'll bet there is no known breeding history on these dogs, and whatever is known about these dogs, is probably not good news. Otherwise, they wouldn't be at a pound in the first place. These pups may be cute now, but they will grow up to become lethal weapons. How many of these dogs will end up back in the pound system again at some point in their lives? It is the dogs who will ultimately suffer and I believe that breeding regulations are just one piece of the puzzle needed to stop this from happening.
