Lifeforce Foundation investigates fur farms

NEWS RELEASE

Don’t Buy Fur Products!

In 2007 Lifeforce investigated fur farm operations in Canada. In Canada there are over 1.6 million animals on fur farms. We found that the conditions for tens of thousands of mink on fur farms in British Columbia were filthy and absolutely appalling.

Mink and fox exhibit abnormal, neurotic behaviours such as restless pacing, mutilations and cannibalism. During one brief visit Lifeforce found mink with bloodied noses and dead mink.

Lifeforce has started a “Furgotten?” campaign to urge politicians to stop the licensing of fur farms in BC and Canada.
