Well said. I have never been able to stretch my mind far enough to even remotely understand how killing animals can be fun. If it is the thrill of the chase, why not take a camera? That way, everyone wins. The hunter gets to 'commune with nature' and take home a prize to show his friends, and the prey animal gets to live another day.

It sounds like their responses to your attempts to educate them consist of discrediting the messenger when they accuse you of being one more ‘damn tree-hugger.’ This is always easier than coming up with a credible argument.
