Unfortunately, not eating honey may not save the bees

Unfortunately, not eating honey may not save the bees. They are probably as doomed by pesticides and pollution as the rest of us.
However, not eating honey spares some bees from an artificial life of having their food, which they worked hard for, substituted with sugar water, for our use.
It spares them being manipulated and filled with antibiotics, and sometimes accidentally crushed in the honey making process, so I think I'll forgo honey.
