I grew up with First Nations people and life on their land was very different from general society. This is not racist, this is a fact. There was good and bad. The life of their animals was extremely disturbing. I think comparison to third world countries' treatment of their animals does unfortunately ring true. We cannot turn a blind eye, but help out as much as we can. Thank you Big Heart Rescue for coming to the rescue as much as you are able. Another group that is invited to First Nations to minister to the animals is Canadian Animal Assistance Team. I had the good fortune to meet some of the members at the Noah's Wish Training Session in Saanich, BC.
