Dogs are dogs. Simple. They are usually all this way (stressed and under-socialized) when careless people drop them off at the careless SPCA who play judge, jury and executioner with lives. They make up excuses for their own mal doings, and attempt to brainwash people, instead of admitting to mistakes and proper measures to correct them. Their assements are poor at best, and to make dogs undergo these "tests" in these highly stressful scenarios is cruel and shameful for the "caring" SPCA. This is hypocritical and contradictory. This makes no sense to me and seems to a lot more people as well. The SPCA doesn't seem to think so.

I tried to help Tyson and they killed him. Ask any higher end management at any SPCA how much $$ they make yearly. Ask how much the SPCA spends on advertising and for donations. Ask an SPCA manager to go check out a home or walk a dog or train with a dog or clean a cage.

I would have your pup checked out at your vet for underlying health issues that could also be adding to "aggressive" behaviors. Also please check out Emma Parson's Click to Calm book on counter-conditioning these behaviors with clicker training.

Lucky for this little dog the SPCA...
I often think about what would have happened to him if my husband and I hadn't adopted him that day
Walking the same concrete is like reading the same newspaper every day - how boring would that be for us?
And the Delta SPCA wanted to kill Cheech! *LINK* *PIC*
Good for you for having the courage to speak out against the lack of SPCA ethics
