What kind of medical care costs $50 or less?
Often just the vet exam is close to the $50 mark.
Let's see, if the vet is donating her or his services, a bottle of antibiotics and a tube of eye ointment might squeak in under $50.
One Sub - Q treatment in a clinic is $30 or more.
This offensively low amount alloted to each animal seems to imply that their lives aren't worth much at all. I could probably spend $50 on one fill of my car's gas tank.

Not having to prove intent to be cruel can lead to abuses of power like the seizure of Gwen Wilson's animals
