All breaking the law because the law is so wrong. This is a perfect example of the necessity of civil disobedience. In most civil disobedience, the act must be open and the disobeyer prepared to take the punishment that the state will impose. But in the case of dog rescue, it all must be hidden because the law would return the dog to the abuser.
