In Response To: Bites that result in death ()

AAS continues to show time and time again the dangers of keeping dogs that are unsocialized. The dog breeds mentioned I suspect are often unsocialized as the kinds of people attracted to these breeds are the kinds of people who often leave their dogs out as yard dogs, or who chain them up.

I am highly, highly, frustrated at the total lack of response by VCP and the SPCA. How many more studies and how many more quotes from dog experts does AAS have to come up with?

There is no longer any excuse for not implementing by-laws to control breeding, especially when it comes to pit bulls, and by-laws banning chaining and isolating dogs.

What in the world is going on here? Why not protect citizens and help all the poor dogs who do not deserve this treatment.

My hat is off to AAS who continues to work without any support from the law makers who SHOULD be making changes!
