Re: Fostering: Eileen Drever said it herself on Global TV, the majority of fostered animals do not come back to the shelter because the foster family ends up adopting them. She admitted this is really what a lot of shelter fostering programs are about. Bless her for her honesty, but two questions beg to be asked, 1) after a foster family has maxed themselves out by permanently adopting foster pets, who will foster the next ones as each household becomes full, 2) if the shelters are full to capacity, then at what point in time will fostered pets who aren't permanently adopted by their foster families going to be returned to the shelter so a permanent home can be found for them?
