BC SPCA CEO Craig Daniell said, "But no single agency can be expected to bear total responsibility for society's homeless animals." That's what he says to the public, but what the SPCA actually does is entirely different. The SPCA has consistently killed animals rather than let rescue groups have them. Since Mr Daniell took the helm of cruelty investigations and as CEO the SPCA has repeatedly killed dogs as this board recounts many times. Many of Gaston Lapointe's dogs were killed in Kelowna, puppymill dogs were killed in Kamloops, dogs have been killed in Surrey, and in every case people offered to take the dogs and save their lives and were ignored.
