Dear Mayor Jackson;

I wish to commend Coun. Campbell on his recommendation that the
Municipality hold an inquiry of the Delta BCSPCA shelter. As a Delta
taxpayer since 1989 I do not wish to support the contract that Delta
has with this Society.

Having been a volunteer in animal rescue for a number of years, I
have come to a place where the BCSPCA no longer surprises me with its
antics of deceit and silence. My work as a specially trained
Emergency Services volunteer at Firestorm 2003 gave me a clear
picture of the BCSPCA's abuse of the public's trust.

In addition, I would urge the Mayor and Council to support a full
inquiry of the Society on the provincial level and its special status
under the PCA Act.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to learning the results of
the inquiry into the events at the Delta BCSPCA shelter.
