The SPCA proves daily that it is NOT about animal welfare but about the pet shuffling business which counts on as much product moving through its system as rapidly as possible. That is the purpose of its unlimited surrender policy. Real animal welfare is a money-loser.

Hello Animal Advocates:
A couple of weeks ago I looked at the SPCA web site (Vancouver shelter
if I remember correctly) and found a pair of small dogs on their site
with a note that they had been moved to furbabies in Washington state.
When I looked on the furbabies web site
(Huron and Sheba under Lhasa Apso
available for adoption) I found out that the former shelter (SPCA) had
planned to euthanize one of the dogs because its eye needed to be
removed. Furbabies removed the eye, and found a home for the dogs.

The SPCA fails again....and again....and again.
