From the Wellness Show Forum:
Kim Archibald is the Branch Manager of the Surrey SPCA shelter - the largest in the Lower Mainland. Kim has come to the Animal Wellness Show to talk about the tests that are done to determine whether or not a dog is unable to be reintigrated into the community and must be put down. This is timely because of the recent affair of Cheech at the Delta Shelter. Cheech was deemed to be too vicious to adopt out and was slated for euthanasia when he was removed from the shelter and hidden by members of the staff and volunteers. How can such a thing happen? Check out our show for one point of view.
