The SPCA has now targeted Forgotten Felines, Animal Advocates Society, Animal Rights Coalition, numerous individuals including this writer and Citizens Yelling for Accountability to name a few.
The associated costs of such an intense focus on a handful of individuals and organizations surely could be used in a more effective manner.
I am certain that the companions who are housed within SPCA facilities throughout British Columbia could benefit by spending financial resources on medical support, spay and neuter, medical and behavioural rehabilitation and foster home development.
It will be interesting to see the SPCA AUDITED financial statements for the year 2004 when full disclosure of legal costs will be presented... if the SPCA actually files audited statements as the law says it must but which it may never have.
