Notes: Dexter is a wonderful 10 year old who is on a desperate search for a permanent home. This guy is very loving and tries to steal the hearts of many potential adopters, but is continually overlooked because of his age. Although 10 years may sound old, you would never believe it if you spent some time with this active and playful guy. His favourite toy is a squeaky porkchop and he is happy to play with this alone or in a game of catch. He loves to go for walks and likes other dogs. He came to the shelter in August and was lucky to go in to a foster home for several months, but they were unable to adopt him. The only thing that Dexter requires is a well fenced backyard and a lot of TLC, he sometimes tries to escape from a yard when bored. Please come and give this guy a chance, we promise you won't regret it.
