According to the mandate of the BCSPCA Board of Directors, regardless of what Mr. Daniell says or thinks, HE is not the ultimate authority in regard to a lawsuit

I don't necessarily believe that Craig Daniell has changed his mind and now thinks differently than he did when he had the conversation with June Stephen and her husband. I believe that Craig Daniell simply makes different statements at different times to different people about the same issue. I have found that same trait applies to other administrative staff in the Society, simply by reading or listening to accounts reported in various forms of the media.

A point to remember, as someone posted on THE WATCHDOG some time ago is that ultimately, the BCSPCA Board of Directors provides the direction in which the organization is to proceed in regard to all issues and\or initiatives raised at regular Board meetings. There is a problem which is evident to me when I count the number of times the word "he" is used in your summary below;

'HE told my husband and I that although HE felt that HE had the right to sue AAS HE would NOT do so because that would take money away from the animals.'

Of course I realize that when Mr. Daniell was speaking the word used would be the word "I". It appears to me then that Mr. Daniell suffers from an "I" problem, not uncommon in people employed in positions of authority.

According to the mandate of the BCSPCA Board of Directors, regardless of what Mr. Daniell says or thinks, HE is not the ultimate authority in regard to a lawsuit or any other issue for that matter. I agree with the person who also made a valid point in the post I referred to previously, that all correspondence sent to the BCSPCA should be c.c.'d to the President and Members of the Board.

Keep that WatchDog barking!
Could such use of monies be classed as fraudulent??!!
When the public finds out that the SPCA is using their money to sue AAS, there will be a backlash that it has never experienced before
Craig Daniell said he would not spend animals' money on suing AAS
