Can or Should the BC SPCA be saved?
I'd like to ask Bojangles, who ruptured his bladder and was killed at the Quesnel SPCA while waiting for money to fix his painful broken bones.

I'd like to ask the Surrey Six, who were killed at the Surrey SPCA because they had kennel cough.

I'd like to ask Dot, who escaped the Surry SPCA with her life, but who left with painful infected eyes that had not been so much as wiped, and a urine soaked coat of matted hair.

I'd like to ask Felicity, who contracted Calicivirus in the SPCA, and who lost so much weight, and became so ill she almost died.

I'd like to ask Jasper, who sat emaciated in an SPCA cage for a week with no vet care - Jasper, who was so far gone by the time he was rescued from the SPCA that he hadn't the strength left to make it, and had to be euthanized. At least he didn't die alone in his SPCA cage.

I'd like to ask Scruffy, who the Vernon SPCA sold back to a neglectful owner, along with one of her pups, to be bred again, and neglected again, despite the fact that she had a decent home waiting to adopt her and have her spayed and get her healthy again.

I'd like to ask Brenda and Tamra, who were exploited by the SPCA for donations, and who were killed for not being able to overcome their fear quickly enough for the SPCA's liking, and again, who had many qualified homes waiting and wanting to adopt them. Brenda and Tamra were frightened little puppy mill dogs - their deaths are especially unforgiveable.

I'd like to ask all the Beaverdell dogs, who were seized and exploited for donations in the media, and who were then incarcerated for almost a year in an SPCA facility, not neutered, until they started to go mad, and were then killed by the masses - 34 out of 46 killed.

I'd like to ask every dog, cat, rabbit, rodent, and bird, imprisoned in an SPCA cage today, awaiting an unknown fate at the hands of those who claim to be speaking for them, how comfortable they are about their futures right now.
