Do emails addressed to the Board of the BC SPCA actually get to all the members?

Judy Stone is not the SPCA's "worse enemy" but she is an informed and intelligent critic.
To insinuate she is the SPCA's enemy is both inflammatory and unfortunate as it suggests she is fanatical rather than analytical in her statements concerning the BC SPCA.

There are many of us who post on the Animal Advocates "The Watchdog" who believe that expressing our views publicly is driving " positive change" within the BC SPCA.

I myself have found suggestions I have made on "The Watchdog" implemented very quickly whereas when I write a letter to the Board of Directors I often receive no reply and no change is forthcoming.

Yours sincerely,

This is to acknowledge receipt of your e-mail to the Board of Directors of
the BC SPCA which I have relayed to our President, Mary Lou Troman.

Dear Ms. Torrance,

board@spca.bc.ca implies that all members of the board will receive copies
of emails sent to that email address. But I now know that emails addressed
to the Board in fact only go to the President, Mary Lou Troman. I have no
way to know if Ms Troman has forwarded my email to the other members of the
Board. Would you please confirm that Ms Troman has in fact forwarded my
email to all Board members?

The President of any Society should not be making the decisions of what
letters get to the rest of the Board of Directors and which do not.
This reeks of censorship and to my mind is unacceptable.

How can the Board of Directors of the BC SPCA really know what is going on
in the Province of BC if they have their mail full of concerns of the public
previously read and categorized to importance by only one person? If I was
a member of a Board like this I would resign, as personally I like to make
my own decisions based on information which I have gathered on my own.

To do less? Personally I would feel I was being irresponsible. This could
be changed to protect privacy by simply forwarding all emails to all Board
of Director Members in the same fashion it has been forwarded to Ms.Troman.

Letters addressed to all the Members of the Board may very well never reach them
This is the very reason that some Members of the Board of the BC SPCA have resigned
I recommend that the Directors get independent legal advice as I did
