Nanaimo SPCA took cats to Walker's Animal Rescue and then turned on it

In 2003 I took two feral cats to Walker's Animal Rescue in Cedar.
It was after dark when I arrived, so I did not see much of the premises, but I did see that the cats had an enclosed indoor/outdoor area, hiding places, climbers, and full food and water dishes.
I went on the reccomendation of Robert Brodgesell, who, at that time, was on the CAC of the Nanaimo SPCA. He told me that the Nanaimo SPCA took cats to Stephanie Walker, for her to care for and find homes for. Stephanie confirmed this.
I don't know how many cats the SPCA took to Walker's. Robert said that the SPCA did give food money to Walker's Animal Rescue for the cats that the SPCA took there.
He said that Stephanie took good care of all her animals, but that the Nanaimo SPCA was angry at her, because she was critical of them.
I don't know if the Nanaimo SPCA still takes animals to Walker's Animal Rescue, but they are obviously familiar with Stephanie Walker and her premises.
Now it looks like they have succeeded in getting her evicted. How is that good for the animals?
Why did they bring in investigators from Vancouver?
I am so distressed by this. I think the SPCA should be responsible for every single one of the animals that Stephanie and her family were caring for until she can find another place. How sad!
