Re: Why is the SPCA helping the Nanaimo Regional District to harass a person who saves the lives of animals the SPCA routinely kills?

Where are millions of dollars raised for the proposed new Nanaimo shelter.?
Hold on there, AAS, you have overstepped by miles !!
A few thousand dollars have trickled in, though there has as yet been no funding drive for the proposed building and the BCSPCA does not permit any serious funding attempt, as I understand, mostly due to the deficit they are suffering. (If this makes sense) ??
I have spent many hours, days and weeks in designing, together with shelter staff, a new "State-of-the-Art" shelter structure and I still have the plans.
This building would cost between 3.5 and 4 million dollars, yes, costly, but very ecconomical, as it would serve some 75 to 100 years into the future, but most important, it would give animals the best possible shelter facility.
All this was done at the time prior to my resignation from the CAC, which was, to the most part, due to the impossible hurdles the SPCA management threw in my way, as I made attempts to begin looking for means of funding.
If we had, as you say, received millions of dollars for this project, the building would now be nearing completion.
I agree with many issues you have regarding the SPCA, but in this case you are way off track.
