Hi Beverly- sorry for the delay, my computer crashed. According to Kelowna SPCA, all the huskies are still there, and the case is sitting "before the crown" (words of a female employee), pending a decision as to whether or not Gaston Lapointe will be prosecuted. Also, someone brought a 9 month old dog to the Rutland Vet Hospital to be euthanized, saying that the Kelowna SPCA had turned them away- interesting...... (And yes, the dog is fine, I know one of the staff at Rutland vet, so "Archie" has taken up foster residence at my home)
Let's wait and see what happens- at least they haven't been euthanized for "health reasons".
