Cindy, that is one of the most reasonable responses i'v ever read.
I think all anyone can do is their best.I'v had 3 unwanted "used up" horses. As a child i so admired "horse people"They seemed somehow "elite" to me.It broke my heart to loose my illusions about them and the horse industry.I found out that the horse owners were not necessarily horse lovers. That often it was about "having"as in having a pretty new car.And once the horse didn't perform as expected,it was traded in just as callously. To introduce children to horses can be a joy. They are so willing to love them for what they are.Regardless of climbing on their backs. Many wonderful things can be learned from them, with out ever taking your feet off the ground.
