Connie, I have taken four dogs from the Kelowna pound in the last month, and none were surrenders from the spca. All four were dogs who were impounded for running at large(and not claimed). I saw the huskies at the Kelowna spca about one week ago, and I had a volunteer tell me they are sending people over to the pound to surrender their dogs. So who's to say what's going on. I have to go to the pound to return something, so I will ask, when I am there how their numbers are doing since the spca is in quarantine.
